Huawei Mate 10 in short
Chinese smartphone giant Huawei is officially coming out with the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro today. There have been many rumors on the specs of their latest edition. The design of the phone has changed a bit with a bezel-less 6 inch display and many unusual colors such as Mocha Brown and Midnight Blue.
The phone focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) with the neural networking processing unit. This means it can recognize objects while you are taking photos, for example. The camera adjusts to the perfect settings because it knows what it’s taking pictures of. The Huawei Mate 10 also translates pictures and texts in real time using AI.
The new Mate 10 is perfect for those who are social media savvy. With high resolution pictures, a LinkedIn integration and the 5.9 inch screen, it will take your social media experience up a notch.
While using the PC mode, the Mate 10 easily turns into a desktop computer. This way, you can use the phone for presentations or for watching a movie. Bonus points for Huawei: incoming phone calls and (embarrassing) messages are not shown on the computer screen, they are visible on the phone only.
When and how much?
At the beginning of next month, the phones will be available in stores. The Mate 10 costs €699 and the Mate 10 Pro will go for €799. A very reasonable price, if you ask me!
