Insights
The talks of the second day were a lot about personal projects and playing around to stay interested in your own field of practice. A lot of businesses are experimenting with taking the time for personal projects instead of paying client work.
Most important learning: The projects get a lot more creative and innovative than the work for paying clients. The design or developing boundaries can be stretched and explored. Personal projects can cost you quite a bit of money and it is (in most cases) not intended to earn that money back, but it can bring you joy, unexpected appreciation, and possibilities for new client projects.
So I’ve learned to start playing around with my skills and learn to explore my creativity. What is your next personal project?
